You can drive from Metro Manila, South along the South Luzon Expressway and then the Star Tollway to Batangas pier (driving time 1-2 hours). From Batangas pier you can take a passenger ferry direct to Muelle, Puerto Galera (ferry travel time 1-2 hours depending on which ferry company). If you are driving your own vehicle then there is a car park right beside the passenger terminal or you can find alternative parking in compounds close to the port area. Note: the first ferry to Puerto Galera is around 03:30 daily and the last ferry to Puerto Galera is around 16:00; ferries leave from Batangas to Puerto Galera approximately every hour.

If you are traveling by public transport then the best choice is to take an air-conditioned bus from Pasay (corner of Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue and Taft Avenue “LRT”) or from Cubao (in the vicinity of EDSA corner Aurora Boulevard). The most frequent bus services from Metro Manila to Batangas pier are provided by: Jam Transit, Ceres Liner and DLTB. For the fastest journey time (two hours or less) choose a bus that has the sign “CALABARZON” displayed in the front window – this ensures that the bus will travel on the expressway all the way.

Fly To Puerto Galera

From Metro Manila there is a daily flight in a amphibian seaplane that departs from the Cultural Center of the Philippines (“CCP”) direct to Puerto Galera. This seaplane service is provided by Air Juan and is currently priced at around US$100 per person, one way. Air Juan will get you to Puerto Galera in 30 minutes or less!
