S/Y Sorcerer Irwin Competition 37

Sorcerer (formerly La Pantera) was designed and built by Ted Irwin as his personal yacht for his campaigns in Florida and in the Caribbean. She was the last fibreglass hull design that Ted built before moving to more exotic materials.

Sorcerer requires a crew of 6-8 people to be competitive, 9 is considered the maximum for winning.

Crew's Comments: she may not look much but she has it where it counts; she does not point quite as high as others, because her sails have a few more miles, but a little off the wind and she goes like a train. Easy podium finish if you know how to fly a spinnaker, first place if the breeze favors a blooper.

She will sleep up to 8 if you are friendly - forepeak double, starboard quarter double, saloon 2 singles plus two pilot berths
